Intervals Festival is the largest international multimedia art festival in Russia, held in Nizhny Novgorod since 2017 and organized by the company dreamlaser. It includes an urban media exhibition, educational, musical, and performative programs. In 2025, the festival was attended by over 450,000 visitors from cities across Russia and other countries.

The INTERVALS media exhibition unfolded across the map of Nizhny Novgorod. Multimedia works by contemporary artists were woven into the urban context and actively interacted with the environment. In 2026, the festival opened new and unexpected architectural locations — historic, industrial, and contemporary venues.
In 2026, the festival was dedicated to signs and symbols. What happens at their intersection? Letters lost their utilitarian function and became images, architecture began to "resonate," the interface created a bodily experience. The connection of two worlds created new situations in which literal meanings were transformed into systems of images and formed new ways of communication through art.
The festival viewed the city as an infrastructure of meanings: a network of signs and symbols (physical and digital) that governs perception and shapes collective memory. Artistic works intervened in this network, changed connections, and created new routes of perception.
Multimedia artists from Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia presented their works at IF '26: Anton Morokov, Denis Astakhov, desilence, Dominic Kießling, dreamlaser, Filip Roca, Josep Poblet, KBDUKE, mammasONica, OUROBOROS, PANTERRA, Quayola, re4ee, Saeed Gebaan, Sasha Kojjio, SKGPLUS.
The festival curator is Anna Gagarina.
