Anton Morokov is a Nizhny Novgorod-based artist and resident of Tikhaya studio. His conceptual series are built from various configurations of repeating elements — images of flags or birds, and sheets of paper bearing typewritten texts.
In contrast to his recognisable graphic style, in his performative practices Anton attempts to remain invisible to audiences — serving guests at the Innovatsiya Awards ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Nizhny Novgorod, or working as a security guard and art handler at Garage Museum in Moscow.
