Инсталляция Waveworm разворачивается как непрерывное движение волн внутри гигантской трубы из плёнки. Ветер, оставаясь невидимым, проявляет себя через колебания материала, задавая форму и ритм. Поверхность реагирует на малейшие изменения, превращая воздух в видимую силу. Волна постоянно смещается, собирается и распадается, удерживаясь на границе между формой и её исчезновением.
В этом движении конструкция начинает восприниматься как процесс — текучий, изменяющийся, живой.
About the artist
Dominic Kießling creates immersive environments that alter and expand the perception of space. His practice focuses on exploring the transformative potential of material and light. Working with film and wind, the artist constructs an interplay of form, texture and movement, producing installations that are simultaneously fragile and monumental.
His works exist at the intersection of sculptural precision and sensory experience. Everyday materials are transformed into almost immaterial, otherworldly spaces. Kießling’s installations can be experienced as meditative environments in which light, shadow and movement play a central role, revealing the poetic potential of matter.
