On the media facade of the new ice arena, digital works by the finalists of the IF '26 competition will be on display: DIMITRII ANISIMOV, 3rr.dd & Federico Gentile (Italy), Yar Kirsanov, DMITRIEV & YANAK, Tma, Slava SAF, Elina Zazulia, BioArt Team, Danni Zheng (China), and Valeriya Skat Verbitskaya.
This ice arena is a long-awaited project for Nizhny Novgorod. Currently, our Torpedo hockey club plays at the Nagorny Sports and Concert Complex, which was built back in 1965 and can no longer accommodate all sports fans. The new arena has a capacity of 12,000 spectators, making it the largest venue of its kind in the Volga Federal District.
The arena is located near the festival's landmark locations — Nizhny Novgorod Fair, the Pakhaus structures, and Strelka — and will become another point of exploration on the city's map.
