The Fair has already served as an IF venue multiple times. This year, the collective PANTERRA will present a sculptural multimedia installation here — you can find it in Pavilion 2.
As one of Russia's most significant historical trade hubs, the Nizhny Novgorod Fair holds deep cultural and economic importance. The legendary trade fair was originally based near the Makaryev Monastery, but after a devastating fire in 1816, it was relocated to Nizhny Novgorod, cementing the city's status as "the third capital" of Russia.
